Helping Campus Leaders Integrate

Compliance, Culture and Strategy

Strategic advising, external policy and process reviews, and leadership

development for academic institutions navigating change and complexity

Leading through Complexity

Whew. . .talk about a complicated time to be a leader in academia. Trying to maintain alignment with institutional values, balance the needs of your various constituencies, and comply with state and federal requirements, all while under the persistent expectation that you do more with less — it’s enough to understandably overwhelm even the most seasoned administrators.

With 20+ years of experience navigating sensitive, compliance- and culture-related issues in higher education, Seven & Nine is attuned to the needs of leaders and works directly with presidents and chancellors, provosts, cabinet-level executives, deans, equal opportunity and human resources officers in need of a little extra bandwidth, support, and objective perspective.

Your concerns are common, but the needs of your campus are unique.

Why “Seven & Nine”?

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and Title IX of the Education Amendments are two of the laws Amy works with most foundationally. Amy’s kids also happened to be those ages at the time she incorporated the business (time flies!).

“Amy is a sharp and genuine thought partner. I felt supported and more confident in my leadership strategy given the smart, insightful perspectives Amy brought to the table.”

Sheri Schwab, Vice Provost, North Carolina State University
